Final Fantasy IX Cosplay

My friends and I have come together to form a Hawaii cosplay group named Cosuteki. We have a blog that you can check out here: Cosuteki Blog. A couple of months ago we did our first group cosplay for Final Fantasy IX. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a video game created by Squaresoft. That’s as far as my knowledge goes so if you’d like to know, you’ll need to research.

A middle-school student, Madoka Kaname and one of her friends, Sayaka Miki meet a strange cat-like creature named Kyubey. Kyubey offers the girls a deal: They may have any one wish granted in exchange they will receive magical powers and must fight witches. The two girls are contemplating what to wish for when a mysterious girl with long hair appears by the name of Homura Akemi. She tries to kill Kyubey and tells Madoka not to make the contract with Kyubey.

Now, Madoka is thrown into a world of magical powers and evil witches. What will she do?

Magical Girl Madoka (Puella Magi Madoka Magica): The Movie (Rebellion)

Summary: The movie takes place after the series has finished. The five girls are battling new creatures called “Nightmares”. Everything looks fine but Homura starts to feel uneasy. As she starts to investigate what’s really happening, she confronts Kyubey. Kyubey tells her that the incubators were intrigued with her story of Madoka becoming a “god” and want to study her powers. Thus, when Homura started the change to becoming a witch, the incubators set up a barrier trap to imprison Madoka. How will they break this trap and save Madoka?

Summary: Ganta, a weak looking middle schooler, was judged guilty by the court for the murder of thirty-one classmates and is given the death sentence. In his city, there is an amusement park that all criminals are sent to live, maintain, and entertain guests at; Deadman Wonderland. Now Ganta is thrown into a world of backstabbing, criminals, corrupt leaders, and a dark secret.

Fushigi Yuugi: The Mysterious Play

Summary: Two middle school girls, Miaka and Yui, go to the library talking about food and where they should go for college. Pulled in by fate, the girls find the book The Universe Of The Four Gods. As they begin reading the tale they are magically sucked into the book, waking up in ancient China. Yui somehow gets transported back to the library but Miaka is stuck in the book. Words appear on the pages of The Universe Of The Four Gods and Yui is now reading what’s happening to Miaka in the story. The two girls learn that there are four kingdoms with their own god. Miaka is titled the priestess of Suzaku and must find her seven celestial warriors in order to summon the god Suzaku. But as easy as things sound, it isn’t. Love, betrayal, friendship. What will happen to Miaka?
